I’m enjoying making NaVloPoMo videos; keeps me on my toes and gets rid of footage I never used before. Good stuff all around. The structure for this one is based on the visual stylings of Senior Valdez. I tried to one of his tricks justice while still having it feel like something that would be on this site. You know, something for my mom. Hi mom!
This is a video of how we cut off the back walls and roof for Mr. Janky, our 40ft schoolbus we purchased earlier this year.

Here’s an old video of my camp packing for the Playa. This video never fails to put a smile on my face; I can really feel our excitement of getting ourselves out of the city to the temporary habitat known as Black Rock City.

End of August means its once again time to pack the truck and head out to Burning Man. This year a couple of us decided to buy a bus and convert it into an art car, and this is my little video to my camp pleading some of them to come help us finish up.
If you are going, come say hi! I’ll be camping at 4:30 and F Street. (I think its called Freshwater this year.)
Also, hopefully this will talk Chuck Olsen into coming out this year. You may also run into Halcyon and Micki!
Outtakes From The Long Short Bus

I just came back from a two week cross-country trip on a converted 40ft. schoolbus!
Needless to say, I took a LOT of video. Today I started to catalog the clips, got bored, and stringed together a couple of them just for something to while away my Sunday afternoon. More vids are coming, as we saw and met some interesting folk out there in the world. This string of clips tell more to those who took the trip, than convey any great meaning to the Internets. So your mileage may vary in terms of entertainment value. The creation of a “more focused” video is forthcoming. Honest.
An Aside: I’ll be heading up to Seattle, Washington for Gnomedex. If you are heading out there, ping me and hopefully we can get together over a beer!
